Universal has decided to shelf its planned Snow White and the Huntsman sequel and is instead focusing on a solo Huntsman movie starring Chris Hemsworth. Kristen Stewart will not be invited to return if the follow-up goes forward.

Snow White & the Huntsman: Snow White and the Huntsman is an upcoming fantasy adventure film directed by Rupert Sanders and written by Evan Daugherty. The film is currently in production and is slated for release on June 1, 2012 in the United States. It is the first film in a planned trilogy.
